The Historical Step for Agricultural Development in Ardahan: The Expansion of Kavılca Kinds in our University, and the Investigation of Winter October Opportunities, The First October Ceremony was Held

Ardahan University (ARÜ), T.C. Ministry of Agriculture and Forest, T.C. Ardahan Governorship and Serhat Development Agency (SERKA) was held in partnership with the "Complexing of Kavılca Types in Ardahan Province and the Investigation of Winter October Opportunities Project was held on 4 June 2026. As the first step of this strategic project focused on regional development; 13 thousand years old history, the history of historical seeds were brought together with the soil, in the scope of increasing the variety of roasts. Törene Ardahan Valmiz Dear Mehmet Fatih Flower, Rector Mr. Prof. Dr. Öztürk Emiroğlu attended academic and administrative staff with Mr. Nurullah Karaca, Secretary General of Harun Smart and SERKA, Director of Agriculture and Forestry. Program, Agriculture and Forest Ministry Field Crops Center Research Institute Dr. Ayten Salantur was held with participation. In order to improve the prevalence and efficiency of roasted varieties, the meeting of roast wheat in the campus area strengthens the scientific research infrastructure of the university. This step also offers a valuable model that adds value to city economy, agricultural diversity and region farming. Thus, it is accelerating to sustainable development processes with city and university cooperation. This corporate partnership that acts regional dynamics contributes to the shaping of local farming policies in the academy axis.
