Prof. Dr. Özoglu II Balkan Conference’s Opening Speech

Held by Baku Slavyan University II. The Balkan Conference was opened with the ceremony of the Azerbaijani President Heydar Aliyev. In the conference presented on the face of eight countries, Azerbaijan-Balkan countries relations, Turkish culture in the Balkans, languages of Turkish, Balkan nations and forms of age were discussed. College Prof. Dr. Ozturk Emiroğlu stressed that in the opening of the conference, in terms of the historical and cultural roots of Turkey, both the Balkans and the Caucasus. Our vector is in the Balkans, the other hand in the Caucasus. On the occasion of this conference, Azerbaijan is holding the hand in the Caucasus of Turkey and close to the arm of the Turkish world in Hungary. The conference aims to provide significant contributions to the strengthening of cultural, academic and scientific business union between Turkish and Balkan countries.
