The Fall Half Opening Lesson was Held in Economics and Administrative Sciences Faculty

The Faculty of Economics and Administrative Sciences has started with an enthusiastic opening lesson for 2025-2026 academic year. Faculte brought together students and academicians in the event that lays a critical topic in the context of global economy and international relations. Opening lesson, “Axie Shift from Europe-Atlantik to Asia-Pacific, and Chief Executive Officer of Political Science and Public Administration under the title of Turkey’s Increased Importance”. Dr. İhsan was held by Kurtbaş. Vice Rector Prof. Dr. Zafer Aykanat, Çlendir Kaymakam Peace Aytürk, İİBF Dekanı Prof. Dr. Ali Kemal Çelik attended students with academic and administrative staff of our university. In line with this goal, we used the Opening Lesson program that we desire to become a tradition with the mission of becoming a pioneering faculties. Prof. Dr. İhsan Kurtbaş discussed the effects of a birak Road (Belt and Road Initiative - BRI) project, a huge infrastructure and trade initiative, which was launched in China leadership. Especially in the presentation of Turkey’s geographical location, ports and logistics networks highlighting its strategic role in the project, “Turkey is an indispensable part of BRI as Asia-European bridge. This project used a potential to strengthen regional stability while increasing the economic growth opportunities of our country. All participants, Prof. Home Kurtbaş’s opening course has followed its presentation. In the question-cevap section performed after the conversation, participants led the questions they wondered about Asia’s rise to thesis and Turkey’s energy corridors, trade volume increase and potential risks. At the end of the opening course, our Vice Rector Prof. Dr. Zafer Aykanat, who started the tradition of the opening lesson, thanking to the IİBF Decan and the participants, Prof. Prof. for his presentation on this important and current issue that concerns many disciplines.
