Joint Animal Health Projects with TANAP Support
Ardahan University continues to support projects that contribute to the development of regional development and livestock. In this context, an important project contract was signed on July 01, 2025 in accordance with the work carried out by cooperation of various institutions with Eskikılıç, Gemidere, and Türkgözü conflicts. In the framework of Social and Environmental Investment Programs carried out by Trans Anadolu Natural Gas Pipeline (TANAP), this collaboration held under the “Supporting the Settlement Units Affected Directly of the Ground Top Facilities” component has won the formality of the contract signed between the TANAP and Türkgözü, Eskikılıç and Gemidere Villages Regulations. Ardahan Provincial Directorate of Agriculture and Ardahan University of Ardahan took place in the project as a foundation. This project, which contributes to the vision of developing useful livestock, one of the main objectives of the Livestock Institute, established in our university, is carried out in the coordinator of our University Project Office. Within the scope of the “Older, Gemini and Turkish-eye Villages Joint Health Projects” implemented by TANAP with 100% grant support, Ardahan University Dr. With the cooperation of the Desire Sword Continuous Education Application and Research Center, educational programs for the village people are organized and comprehensive animal health screenings are carried out. The project planned to be completed in 2025 aims to ensure the awareness of the village people and to achieve more efficient and sustainable structure of livestock activities in the region.
