Applied Land Study in Aras River and Pain Mount from Students

Ardahan University was carried out in practiced land work around Aras River and Pain Mountain, aimed at 2 class students by the Department of Humanities and Literature. Students under the work of the land; the geomorphological development of Aras River, Salty Rainbow Hills, Salty Salt Cave, Geomorphological properties of Pain Mount, Nuh’s Ship and İshak Pasha Palace were examined in important natural and cultural areas. During the field trip, students were transferred information about geomorphological, geological and cultural structure of the region. In this way, students had the opportunity to observe and evaluate the information they received in theoretical lessons. At the end of the study, our Rector Prof. Thanks to Dr. Öztürk Emiroğlu, the Coğrafya Department, who had active participation in field work, has been pleased with the interest of students.
