Our University hosted a meaningful awareness program for individuals with special requirements within the World Disabled Week. Provincial National Education Manager V. Ardahan Private Educational Vocational School students and teachers with Atanur Sarıçam were welcomed in our University. Visit program, Reector Prof. in Senato Chamber. Dr. Öztürk Emiroğlu’s guests started their office. Our vector has been in intimate chats with students and celebrates World Disabled Week. Our Rector, which emphasizes that privately required individuals are an integral part of the society, expressed that such activities have great importance in raising awareness and contributing to social integration. Within the scope of the program, a special film show was held in ARÜ Cinema for guest students by SKS Office. Then students experienced fun moments in the event held in the bowling hall of our University. The special individuals offered to eat with university students were aimed to experience campus atmosphere, social interaction and strengthen motivations. In the framework of World Disabled Week events, Goalball Tournament Final and Award Ceremony was held. In the tournament with great excitement with the participation of privately required students, athletes were proud of their performance. After the final competitions, awards were presented. Goalball event has given an important contribution to physical, social and psychological development by promoting sports participation of private individuals. At the end of the program Ardahan Special Educational Profession School Manager Mustafa Kemal Whitetaş, Provincial Director of National Education V. Atanur Sarıçam, Rector Prof. for the support they provide to the event. Home Ozturk Emiroğlu presented his gift to Nurcan Günal Torun, Head of SKS, Metin Çimli and SKS Presidency Branch Manager. This comprehensive program, conducted in our university, supports the participation of privately-need individuals to social life, was a great importance in creating a meaningful interaction environment with university students.
