ARÜ AYAY Department Technical Visit from students to Kahramanmaraş AFAD Provincial Directorate

The students of our University Emergency Aid and Disaster Management Department visited the earthquake zone in Kahramanmaraş within the scope of ÜNIDES Project. During the course of the program, there are comprehensive information about field work with the search-raising applications, disaster awareness trainings, GPS and direction-seeing techniques for students by the experts of the AFAD Provincial Directorate of Kahramanmaraş. Visit helped students to observe theoretical knowledge in the field, experience disaster management processes in place and develop professional competences by working with expert teams.
