Cultures Meet: International Students Cultural Event Held in Arü

Our University’s Foreign Relations Office is organized by the International Student Coordinator “Culture Meets: International Students’ Cultural Event” was held with a wide participation in the Âşık Şenlik Cultural Center on December 11, 2025. The event that allows students to share their cultural heritage from different geographies was assessed as a strong reflection of the internationalization vision of our university. Program; Rector Prof. Dr. Öztürk Emiroğlu, Foreign Relations Office Coordinator Dr. Ozturk Emiroğlu Home Member Doğan Saltaş, International Student Coordinator Dr. Home Member Nurgül Moldalieva Orozobayev, International Student Coordinator Dr. Home Member Mirza Polat joined numerous students with the Head of SKS Apartment Metin Grass, academic and administrative staff. The event started with the demonstration film of our university after the respect posture and Istiklal Marıl. Within the scope of the program, students from Azerbaijan, Kazakhstan, Kyrgyzstan, Uzbekistan, Turkmenistan, Iran, Syria, Somalia, Nigeria and Çad conducted dance, poem, song and promotional presentations to their country. Flag pass, country promotion videos, traditional dance performances and poem rests collected great acclaim from participants. The Voice of students’ Memleketim song together created the most enthusiastic moments of the event. Our Rector Prof. Thanks documents were presented to participants by Dr. Öztürk Emiroğlu. The program ended with the visit of cultural booths and the public photo shoot. Ardahan University continues to strengthen the reflection of cultural diversity to university life with such activities that support academic and social harmony of international students.
