Updated Topics on “Halk Games” Panel Organized in our University

The panel titled "Current Topics" was held by Turkish Folk Games Department of Fine Arts. The invited speaker of the program held at the IBEF Nazım Hikmet Conference Hall was the President of Turkish Folk Games Federation Hüseyin Güler. On the panel, the current status of Turkish folk games, cultural transfer processes, institutionalization and future perspectives were discussed. In the program undertaken by Prof. Dr. Bülent Kurtişoğlu, the program was evaluated on how public games can be maintained with contemporary approaches by maintaining traditional values. Hüseyin Güler informed the participants about corporate studies in this field, taking into account the importance of the introduction of folk games at the national and international level. The panel followed by the interest of students with academic and administrative staff ended after the question-cevap section.
