Strong Splash in International Visibility

Ardahan University continues to take concrete results of strategic steps focused on internationalization. The number of indicators that reveal the international visibility of our university has shown a remarkable increase in 2024 by ascending to the level 2.145 in 2025. This rise reveals the impact of international business associations planned and sustainablely carried out in line with corporate vision. Our Rector Prof., who has started his duty and received internationalization among the primary targets. Dr. Öztürk Emiroğlu’s visionary approach plays a decisive role in the rise. In the leadership of our Rector, maintaining 28 years of academic career in Poland, Warsaw University and Nowy Targ Applied Sciences University from Poland signed Erasmus+ and bilateral cooperation agreements with University of Baku Slavyan University and Han own University from Northern Macedonia. This process, supported by our Erasmus+ coordinator’s active studies, strengthened academic mobility while expanding our university’s international network. As a concrete indicator of internationalization vision, the first Erasmus+ exchange student from the European Union countries reached Ardahan from Nowy Targ University in Poland. These steps are continuing to improve the visibility and domain in the international higher education ecosystem of Ardahan University while strengthening sustainable business associations in educational, research and cultural interaction.
