Scientific Expedition for Violence in Ardahan: The Provincial Action Plan Workshop was Held in Our University’s House

In the coordination of Ardahan Governorship, the "Law Action Plan Preparatory Workshop" organized with the organization of the Provincial Directorate of Family and Social Services, was held with an academic vision at the home of our university. The workshop organized to increase social awareness, strengthen coordination between institutions and increase the effectiveness of work to be carried out in the province level; representatives of public institutions, civil society organisations and numerous academic participation. In the sessions attended by Meral Iron, the current status analysis on the prevention of violence for women were evaluated in the light of scientific data. Our academicians presented a visionary support at the point of being more inclusive, sustainable and feasible in the Provincial Action Plan, which will be prepared in line with their own expertise areas. In this process where scientific accumulation is blended with field experience, concrete predictive was revealed to strengthen the social structure. The workshop highlighted the importance of a holistic approach and coordination between institutions in the fight against women is completed efficiently with the decision of steps to be taken at the local level.
