The East and Southeast Anatolia Region Apiphytherapy Workshop, which was held for the first time throughout Turkey, signed a principle at the local and regional level, started with the opening session, hosted by Ardahan University from October 01-03. The organization aimed at revealing academic and scientific potential in the areas of beekeeping, apitherapy and phytotherapy; Ardahan University, Ankara University Technokent, Ardahan İli Arı Growers Association (ARDAYBİR), T.C. Ardahan Governor Provincial Directorate of Agriculture and Forestry, Ankara University Faculty of Agriculture, Ardahan Kafkas Bee Manufacturing, Education and Gen Center Directorate, Şırnak Arı Cultivators Association and Health and Apitherapy Association. Our University attended academicians, public managers, sector representatives and producers in the opening program held at the Martyr Mustafa Hamov Conference Hall, Faculty of Economics and Administrative Sciences. In the program, which started with the demonstration film of our respected posture, Istiklal Maril and university; it was highlighted the importance of transforming this potential with scientific data and supporting standards, safe and sustainable product production.

Our Rector Assistant Prof. Dr. Yeliz Iron, Mr. Prof. Dr. Ozturk Emiroğlu’s message was followed by the importance of the event in the academic world. IBCAP President and Founder Rector Prof. Dr. Mehmet Retti Karaman expressed that they were honored to burn Apifitotherapy torch for the first time in Turkey. In Karaman speech, Kur'an-ı Kerim stated that treatment with zi Suresi is apitherapy, medical and aromatic plants, and treatment is fitotherapy, explaining that apifitotherapy refers to the powerful healing resources obtained by combining these two areas according to scientific principles, and stressed the importance of transforming raw products into value-added products and university-sanayi-producer work union.
