Ardahan University is hosted by the University of Fine Arts Faculty of Painting in coordination and from Poland’s established educational institutions University of Silesia (Silesia University) The international mixed exhibition titled "Eidolon - Spaces of Art: Nature – Culture – Humanity" (Art Areas: Nature – Culture – Humanity) was opened in the ceremony held in the Exhibition Hall of the Ottoman Festival in September 15, 2026. The opening of this qualified organization that addresss nature, culture and human relationship with a disciplined art understanding of our University Prof. Dr. Öztürk Emiroğlu made. With the contributions of the Faculty of Fine Arts, Faculty of Painting, Professor of faculty. Dr. Melis Sucuoğlu Doğan’s coordinatorial exhibition took place with academicians, students and numerous art lovers. Mr. Rector, one of the only works in the opening, listened to the philosopher background of the exhibition, the image language and artistic fiction directly from the artists who listen to their own inspirational shares.
This meaningful event brought together with the city culture of artistic accumulation of the national and international size was carried out with the joint production of postgraduate students with academicians in the University of Silesia (Silesia University / Katowice). Within the scope of the exhibition; Tomasz Chudzik, Adam Czech, Edyta Czernecka, Kinga Janica, Agnieszka Jaworska, Aleksander Ostrowski, Wiesława Ostrowska, Krzysztof Pasztua, Ryszard Pielesz, Aneta Sadowska, Kamil Słupik, Agata Sobczyk, Justyna Stefańczyk and Oliwia Szkarłat is 38 artists. The 8 invited artists from Poland to attend the opening of the exhibition were prepared in the organization, with mature productions of built-in graphic artists, the original languages of young artists met under the roof.
Means the name of the Greek "infection of reality" Eidolon exhibit from the concept; stresses in the intersection of culture with nature with pattern, print picture and picture techniques are addressed with an aesthetic language. This contemporary selection, questioning the existence of 21st century people from digital avatars and virtual illusion metaphoria, reveals the effort of regaining human essence in the dominant world of technology.
Mr. Prof. Dr. Öztürk Emiroğlu highlighted the importance of the organization and used the following expressions: "We are delighted to welcome the international qualified examples of foreign art in our university and create a global artistic interaction area. The transportation of these studies in Poland to be exhibited in the university will further reinforce the friendship and collaboration bridge between both educational institutions. "
